What is digitizing services?

Embroidery digitizing is the process of converting a logo or artwork file into a stitch-ready file that an embroidery machine can execute. Embroidery Broward digitizes in-house into DST or PES formats, tunes stitch density for the target garment, and delivers most digitized files within 24 hours when the logo is submitted Monday through Friday.

Digitizing is a one-time file fee — not a per-garment charge — and starts at $45 for left-chest, cap, and small logos under 6" wide. Same-day rush is available for orders placed early in the day. The finished DST or PES file is yours to keep and we archive a copy on your account for free reorders.

Who orders digitizing services

Embroidery digitizing is the process of converting a logo into a stitch-ready file (DST or PES) that an embroidery machine reads to execute the design. It maps stitch type, direction, density, and thread color for each element.

How much does embroidery digitizing cost?

A new logo digitized for left chest, cap, or any placement under 6" wide is a flat $45. Repeat logo setup is $15, a minor file edit is $20, and a major redesign is $45. Contract customers get a $25 rate. Larger designs and jacket backs are quoted after we see the artwork. Digitizing is a one-time file fee — not a per-garment charge.

How long does digitizing take?

Standard digitizing turnaround is 24 hours when the logo is submitted Monday through Friday. Same-day rush is available for an additional fee — just let us know when you upload the logo.

Do I own the digitized file after you make it?

Yes. The digitized DST or PES file is yours. We keep a copy on your account for future reorders, and you can request the file be delivered to you at any time.

Can you digitize a logo from a JPG or PNG?

Yes. We can digitize from JPG, PNG, PDF, SVG, EPS, and AI files. Vector files (SVG, EPS, AI) produce the cleanest results. Small or low-resolution JPGs may require redrawing before digitizing.

Do you offer PES files for home embroidery machines?

Yes. We export PES files for Brother, Babylock, and other home embroidery machines on request. Confirm the target machine when you place your digitizing order.
